The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Penn State has wonderful memories and along with the studies I had a fantastic fun time. Of course we all have our "most" embarrassing moments and my two were, 1. When I fell off the curb right in the middle of Main Street and 2. When I was at a very fancy fraternity dinner party and spilled my RED wine on the beautiful white tablecloth. I don't know which was redder, my face or the tablecloth. After graduation I married the man I met when I was 14 years old. However I lost him to Alzheimer's in 2002. However, so many wonderful memories did carry me through the tough times. After several years of teaching art we opened a couple dress shops and finally combined them all into a bigger store and added a bridal boutique. That kept us busy for almost 30 years. We had 2 children and now have 5 grandchildren all living in PA and I am in sunny FL. I do miss not seeing them as much as I would like but I do love it here, there is so much to do and always someone ready to have fun. I am a Red Hatter, play a lot of bridge, read a lot, travel, go to the theater, and don't get to the beach often enough. I have had a blessed life, a beautiful family and wonderful new friends and so many friends from the past with whom I see and correspond. Friends make the world a better place. I wish all of you a beautiful future.
